How to use BDSM Ropes Safely

The rope is easy to use for the beginner as much as it is perfect for the Fully Trained sub. Whether you’re tieing up your sub, performing a delicate shibari display or tieing yourself up, a high end Bondage rope does the trick.

Simply unwind the rope and let it lie loosely in a bunch on the floor, bed or other flat area. Attempt to unwravel it in a way that will avoid it from tangling when it is being used.

To safely and easily store the rope, pay attention to how it is wrapped up when you receive it and make an effort to mimick that style when you are doing using it.

Important safety tip. Always have a pair of safety scissors or a safety knife nearby. This is important in the event that you cannot get a knot undone and the ropes need to be removed immediately. This happens more than you might think and is particularly important when you are first learning to tie.
