BDSM Wrist Cuffs

Directions for use: BDSM Hand Cuffs

Make sure the sub’s arm or leg is held out clear away from their body or any other obstructions. Start with the cuff completely open, in an almost flat position. Lay the length of the cuff across the ankle or wrist, position the ankle or wrist in the center of the length of the cuff. Then proceed to wrap both ends of the cuff around the ankle or wrist of the sub. Both ends should meet and overlap. Make sure the latch end of the cuff overlaps over the tounge end of the cuff, to ensure the latch can operate properly and there is no discomfort.

BDSM Wrist Cuffs Instructions

When fitting the cuff, make sure it is tight but not too tight. Ideally the cuff should still be able to move around the wrist or ankle if moved with some force, but it should not be loose enough to allow one or more fingers to get between the cuff and the skin.

Suggestion

Often when first attempting to put on cuffs, the Dom may not do it tight enough, for fear of hurting or causing discomfort. This can be a mistake, as loose cuffs when anchored via a rope or similar will pull towards the angle of the anchor, dragging the leading edge of the cuff into the sub’s skin.

This can cause much more discomfort, or even abrasions. It’s very important to have the cuffs properly tightened, as this will allow the force of the anchor to be spread around the cuff and ultimatley around the sub’s arm or leg. Plus, after all the sub probably wants to feel a tight fit anyway!

Important safety tip. You must review the location of each cuff when you put it on. Although ankles are less prone to blood flow issues than wrists, you can cause damage if you over tighten a cuff or if one of the leading edges of the cuff is digging into your subs skin.

BDSM Wrist Cuffs How To

There’s really not a whole lot that can go wrong with hand cuffs. The most important part is getting the tension right. Not too loose but also not too tight. Have a look in the image above, you’ll see that the cuffs appear a little too loose. This isn’t a good thing.

The most complicated thing about a wrist cuff is what to do with them when you have them on!
